• Rhett Farber

Rhett started his own personal journey of transformation when he moved to Italy in 1979 to study for a semester. It was his first time leaving the US, and his adventures around Europe confirmed that travel and connecting with other cultures were essential for his growth.

He made the big move two years later when he moved to Taiwan (buying a one-way ticket at the age of 22), and spent most of the next 30 years living and working in Asia.

Traveling throughout mainland China for two months in 1982, as well as 1987, Rhett served as a bridge for families living in China and Taiwan who had been separated from each other since the late 1940s. He also led Taiwanese groups around the world in the 1990s, helping them connect with other cultures.

Rhett and his family moved to Shanghai in 2005, and lived there for almost 10 years. While living in China Rhett worked with many of the largest multinationals in the world, designing and delivering people-development solutions for their respective organizations. Whether the focus was about Team Effectiveness, Leadership Skills, Change Management, or Cultural Awareness/Intelligence, Rhett would always meet with key stakeholders of an organization and design a program based on their specific needs.

Harvard University and The Great Wall of China are just a few iconic global locations where Rhett has delivered people-development workshops. He has coached global executives who moved to the Greater China region, as well as international MBA students and middle/high school students. He has consulted with Chinese companies that are establishing operations in the Americas, and US companies that are establishing a footprint in Asia.

Rhett holds honors degrees in Asian Studies and International Business, along with a professional certification in DISC Behavioral Assessment and VIA Character Strengths Assessment Tool. He has been a featured speaker and relationship workshop facilitator in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, China and the US. He loves exploring the world and has been to over 50 countries and lived in Asia most of his adult life.

Rhett loves to joggle (juggling while jogging) on the beaches of northeast Florida and wherever he travels in the world.
